Intellectual Domain
Some students learn faster and more easily than others. These students may shine in creativity, thinking, leadership or sport.
At our school, we recognise and nurture these strengths early. We support advanced learners with great lessons and activities to help them grow and thrive.
The Great Playground Design Challenge
"The Great Playground Challenge" project aimed to engage students in a hands-on, project-based learning experience that integrated critical thinking and structured problem-solving activities. The task was to collaboratively design a multipurpose playground in a newly vacated area of the school.
Smart City Design Challenge
Students in Years 2-6 designed and built a Smart City using digital tools, machines and materials. The project was student centred, guided by a specialist teacher.
Students used aspects of science, technology, engineering, art and mathematics to demonstrate their growing competency in the intellectual domain.
Enrichment Programs
Enrichment programs are available across the school, creating a challenging and supportive learning environment for students with high potential in the intellectual domain. The pacing and challenge of the programs is differentiated to support student growth and achievement.
The Premier's Spelling Bee
Stage 2 and Stage 3 students are provided with opportunities to participate in the Premier's Spelling Bee to develop and expand vocabulary, and refine spelling accuracy.
